Moderators (mods) are members of a forum who have the duty of maintaining order and enforcing the rules. Moderating ABS Forums is futile because keeping it orderly is like trying to scrub a turd clean. By definition a turd is filthy, and ABS is likewise a black hole of idiocy. Most moderators retire after coming to the realization of this fact, those who do not are either insane or even stupider than the rest of ABS.
