Theoretically, internet romance is capable of working in a manner similar to that of a real-life long distance relationship, but the local internet has yet to see any proof of that. Instead it's a ridiculous activity that only results in grabass, drama, general faggotry, and in one case, death. For some absurd reason internet lovers choose to use public forums and IRC channels as the preferred medium to communicate their affection for each other. You know those teenagers who draw their boyfriend's/girlfriend's name inside of hearts all over bathroom walls and you can't help but think "holy shit that's fucking idiotic"? Well basically every online relationship ends up being like that only even more annoying.
