In real life, copyright regulates the use of a particular expression of an idea or information. On the internet, it's a constantly fluctuating set of inconsistent standards that are applied or ignored at will. For example, it's copyright to steal music, movies, and video games. However, it's copywrong to steal Flash animations, Flash software, website styles, and photos that people intentionally shared. Failure to follow these guidelines will often lead to legal threats, frivolous or otherwise.
