Adopt a Noob

Adopt a Noob is an activity that used to be popular on ABS Forums. Forum "regulars" would adopt "noobs" which basically consisted of putting their names in each others sigs. The idea was that the "noobs" would be given lessons in how the forums work, since obviously they're too stupid to simply lurk. It was primarily just a grabass ritual that consisted of lots of arguing about who was eligible to adopt and who owned who. Occasionally someone would adopt a large number of members, which increased the faggotry exponentially.
