absforums.net was an ambitious EMPTV plan to create a complete parody of the ABS Forums. It was postponed indefinitely in December of 2004 after Mercutio, having been informed about the project in hopes that he would help, told Cubehead about it. Cubehead took offense to a parody thread by "Karma" featuring pictures of a woman and her family posing with a miscarriage, and told AB about it. Other "thread" ideas included a caricature of a stormraven post written by Pana Wana, Ovens portraying "SmugglingJewels" (a mockery of JugglingWolves), and presenting Japanese cat torture pictures as JugglingWolves' cat Kitler. The latter idea was vetoed by Overlord_45 for being just a little over the line. The domain is currently inactive.
