Trolling originally referred to saying or doing intentionally irritating things on the internet in order to elicit a negative reaction. Nowadays, trolling usually means expressing a point of view that someone doesn't agree with. Almost all instances of trolling in the local internet are obvious to anyone who isn't stupid. People who proudly claim to be trolls are often quite stupid as well.
