Loose Change is a popular internet video about 9/11 that claims the United States government orchestrated the attacks. The video contains "evidence" that a plane did not crash into the Pentagon, the World Trade Center was destroyed by explosives, and Flight 93 landed in Cleveland, among other things. In their attempts to support these claims, the video's producers present straw man arguments, logical fallacies, out-of-context quotes, overgeneralizations and outright falsities.

Loose Change was introduced to the local internet in April of 2006 when Bishop put it in the topic of #albinoblacksheep and BoredomBunny posted it in the ABS Debate Forum. Various EMPTV users went to the forums to point out the video's glaring flaws, but its supporters utilized the same unsound reasoning, and would simply move to another topic once they were proven wrong on a certain point. After recognizing this strategy, rmuser published an Internet Detectives investigation of Loose Change that refuted everything in the video. This article was one of the first EMPTV productions to become somewhat popular outside the local internet. It is not known if Bishop or BoredomBunny have read it, although Dark_Sage was very upset by it, despite agreeing with its conclusions.
