Image and Graphics

Image and Graphics (I&G) is a forum on ABS for digital artists and their work. There are only a handful of "artists" who are relatively skilled compared to the rest of ABS' 12-year-old Flash enthusiast demographic, and they'll yell at anyone who isn't until they leave the section. Forged especially enjoys this.
I&G was originally moderated by Sera, followed by MakeMeASandwich. When it was discovered that the mod poll between MakeMeASandwich and ThrowThisAway had been rigged by RaIn, MakeMeASandwich quit and ThrowThisAway replaced him. After the April 2, 2005 ABS Forums takeover, ThrowThisAway was replaced by Muse, who only moderates I&G despite being a global moderator. She acknowledges that Forged is an asshole, but refuses to remove him because he's the only decent artist ABS will ever see. After Muse quit in December of 2006, she was succeeded by MononcQc.
In the past, there was a weekly "Sig Of The Week" (SOTW) competition, consisting of 400x200 images designed to be used as forum signatures. The winner was decided by an open poll, which often made it a contest of forum popularity rather than artistic merit. It didn't really matter, because most of the images looked extremely similar anyway, and the competition is very rarely run nowadays.
