17chan, formerly Framework, is an internet forum created by rmuser after he left the ABS Forums in June of 2004. Its structure was once notably different from most ABS-derived forums, as members were allowed to directly control how the forum was administrated, but ultimately this experiment ended in failure.

Originally located at http://emptv.com/framework/ and temporarily at http://ninjasquad.org/framework/, it later moved to 17chan.net and remained there until Zeshin removed the domain and left. 17chan.com was purchased by jski as a replacement, but shortly after events that led to 17chan's shift from "direct democracy" to a more standard forum administration scheme, he removed this domain as well. 17chan briefly moved to http://internetdetectives.biz, and is now located at http://17chan.org. It is not related to sites such as 4chan.

People like stormraven who don't like 17chan or its members like to bring it up in arguments with rmuser and try to use their disagreements with it as a reason why nothing he says can possibly be correct. This of course is stupid and almost always irrelevant to the topic being discussed.
