Flash Developers

Flash Developers is a section of the ABS Forums for Flash animation. While most of its content is brief clips of stick figures stabbing each other and meaningless "collabs", it also offers a bizarre dichotomy of banning policy. In any other forum on ABS, it would take weeks of blatantly obnoxious behavior before a ban is even considered. In Flash Developers, someone can merely ask where to get Macromedia Flash for free, and they'll be banned and berated by semi-literate 13-year-olds who regularly download movies and music from the internet. This is because the Flash Developers demographic believes their bouncing circular gradients are so important, Macromedia regularly visits the forum to witness its magnificence.
There is also an IRC channel in Rizon called #absflash which was created so that newbies would have somewhere to go for animation help other than #albinoblacksheep v2. So far no newbies have ever shown up there, so instead it just functions as an extension of the forum.
Additionally, AB will grant almost complete immunity from any punishment to people who create content for the front page. This leads to people like styx021 being allowed back to the forums and a permanent infestation of retards, because apparently they're really quite essential to the site.

- (edit: Get a job. Or ask for it for Christmas. Odds are you want Flash so you can make dumb animutations or have pictures moving around on a screen with your downloaded music playing in the background so you can show off to your friends (if any exist). You'd be better off getting Pivot if you want to do that.)
