Flash

Flash is the preferred medium for animations on the internet. Most Flash animations suck; these can be found in the Links / Submissions section on the ABS Forums. Those that suck slightly less make it to the front page of Albino Blacksheep. Better Flashes are regularly posted in 4chan's /f/, and the best are at The Friend Society. Flash is also used for games, loops, and embedding music in a page when you don't want the inconvenience of having to load QuickTime.

Sometimes, entire websites are made in Flash. Those who do this surely deserve to die horribly.
