Ask The Dumb Philosopher

Ask The Dumb Philosopher (DP), originally Ask The Pothead, was a forum on the ABS Forums created by AB for the purposes of general entertainment. It was later commandeered by Papa J, Dove, Karma, RaIn, X'el'toth, norton, Ace Polygonopolis, Dem0critus, Enemy of the Light, and their friends, and devolved a clubhouse that was almost completely unrelated to ABS, with nobody asking any philosophers anything. First moderated by Papa J, it went downhill under the iron fist of Dove. Any posts or threads she deemed "off-topic" were removed, even though Dumb Philosopher had no criteria for suitable posts, and most of the posts in the forum weren't even up to the standards of Chit-Chat or other non-DP forums. However, nobody challenged Dove about this, because nobody really understood what Dumb Philosopher was supposed to be. Tired of Dove being bossy in Staff, rmuser deleted Dumb Philosopher and left on April 2, 2005. It has not returned and AB has stated it will not return due to the problems it caused, but some who enjoyed it still blame rmuser instead of AB for its disappearance. There currently aren't many people on ABS who want it back, as most of DP seems to have migrated to Equivocal Haven.
